About APIDA
APIDA was built inside the kind of operating business it now serves.
Division 22 Pty Ltd developed APIDA while solving a live commercial problem inside Vehicle Lighting Tech Australia: deep specialist capability was not being represented, compared or recommended accurately online.
We felt the problem first
This began as an operating problem, not a marketing theory.
The method grew through direct work on services, technical boundaries, completed jobs, customer questions and public evidence—then through repeated observation of how ChatGPT and Google AI Mode interpreted the business.
We stopped treating it as a traffic problem.
More visibility would only amplify an incomplete picture. We needed to understand how AI assembled the business and why real capability could be overlooked or matched poorly.
That investigation became APIDA: verify the operating reality, improve what shapes the AI answer, then ask the same customer questions again.
The method
Built around four disciplined actions.
Start inside the business
Establish the work it genuinely does well, who it is right for and what proves the match.
Trace the AI interpretation
Test realistic customer questions and examine the public sources shaping the answer.
Correct the source
Improve the facts, pages, service boundaries and proof causing the business to be flattened or mismatched.
Test again
Repeat the original questions, record what changed and keep independent platform behaviour separate from APIDA's claims.
Accountability
APIDA separates what it can verify from what it is still testing.
VLTA is the founding operating case, not an independent client or controlled experiment. The Founding Pilots test whether the refined method transfers to businesses APIDA does not own or operate.
APIDA is the public brand operated by Division 22 Pty Ltd. The business is based in Australia and works with selected established businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
